Case Study: Start-Up Design Sprint Facilitation
I organized and facilitated a CX transformation design sprint for a construction company
Client
Hail Hero (Previously Roof Wrangler)
Roofing company in the MO/IL area specializing in storm damage.
Background and Preparation
Prior to the Design Sprint, part of the sprint team had performed extensive research with outputs that we could consume, including determining and developing the target persona.
Sprint Goal
Client wanted a website that would position the company as a trusted name in the storm restoration business.
Sprint Question
How might we convey trust in the public pages of the website?
Key Strategies Implemented
Discovery
Design Thinking, Competitive Analysis
Design
Participatory Design, Clickable Prototype
Validation
Moderated Usability Lab
Outcomes
We exited the Design Sprint with a new company name - Roof Wrangler was now Hail Hero! Additionally we had balanced the desires of business with the desires of the key Persona to develop a solid, tested prototype. That prototype was ratified based on learnings from the User Testing and sent to a UI designer for the www.hail-hero.com to be built.
We performed User Testing with the Prototype Website (below). The Final Website reflects findings from the User Testing in combination with professional, refined UI design.
