I am a mixed-media artist with work in private collections around the world.

Bio

Martha Valenta (b. 1973) is an American contemporary artist. She explores her family relationships, personal experiences, and thoughts through her work, creating pieces that fall into the categories of Pop, Conceptual, Abstract, Immersive/Experiential, and Appropriation art. Her primary medium is mixed media painting, but she also works in digital art, sculpture, and immersive/interactive installations. After a long hiatus due to family pressures and commitments, she returned to public art in 2017, encouraged by her husband, artist Tim Meehan.
